1926

The company took a historic step forward by collaborating for almost 10 years
with Prof. Alain Carpentier, calls the father of modern mitral valve repair, with
whom the company developed a full range of cardiovascular sutures.

With a new CEO, Thierry Herbreteau, the company has embarked in a challenging
5-year strategy plan aimed at doubling its sales by 2023. This strategy is
supported by a global transformation of the company to refocus on customers
first, a revamping of its innovation and through acceleration and
internationalization.

realized major acquisition: Fimed & Vitalitec, Stericat and Vectec, to focus on 5
strategic ranges: Sutures, Clips/VTO, Mesh, Surgical Glue and Laparoscopic0
Instruments.
